Our Story
Flow Sauna began its life in 2021, originally as a small urban spa in Newquay Cornwall. Flow Sauna was one of the first pioneering companies in the UK sauna culture to integrate hot and cold contrast therapy. It quickly developed a grass roots reputation for creating and hosting authentic sauna experiences in saunas and sweat lodges, working with some of the worlds best facilitators.
Flow quickly began building high quality saunas to serve the needs of the experience first primarily with the demand for hot soft steam being the focus. Flow Sauna grew naturally from this desire.
What started as a single spa venue evolved into a bigger team with a practice rooted in cultural sweat traditions from Lithuania to Czech Republic.
Flow soon became and still is one of the leaders in the creation of meaningful sauna experiences.

Our Path
Over the years, the team have designed, built and operated and owned 2 wild spa. The team have toured summer music festivals, supported retreats and worked internationally with spas and hotels. Our saunas have found their way into forests, coastlines, mountains and community spaces throughout the UK and beyond. We have operational commercial saunas in London, Paris, Norwich, Isle of Wight, Devon and Cornwall.
We have consulted for venues including Jalooga Spa in Durban South Africa, Steam in Manigod in the French Alps, Wild Ritual in Scotland and coastal hotels throughout the UK. Our commercial partners include Slomo, The Wandering Wild spa, Community Sauna CIC London, Beach Box Brighton, Samphire Sauna, Revitalise Urban Spa, Urban Ice Tribe, Sauna et Bains Collectifs Paris.
The Team
A team shaped by craft, connection and a love of heat.
Knowledge and Culture
Our practice is shaped by teachers and guides from across the sauna world. We have learned from respected facilitators including Katy Bratcher, Mika Meskanen and Wendy Lui from the British Sauna Society, Nick Tettersall, Birute and Rimas – Lithuainian bath masters, and Dr Pavel Sladek from Czech, Dennis Warrington from The New Docklands Steam Baths. Their experience and wisdom continue to influence the way we work and the way we serve the people who step into our saunas.
More than one thousand guests have taken part in our meditation sweatlodge influenced sauna workshops and festival ceremonies, forming a quiet, connected community around heat, breath and presence.

Today
We now create bespoke sauna environments, wild spa structures, and urban spas for new sauna venues and investors wanting to build with integrity and intention. We also host unique retreats in Europe and UK.
Flow Sauna remains guided by the same values we began with: authenticity, community, craftsmanship and the belief that steam can change the way we feel and therefore live.
